Over the last fifteen years, I have lived in colorful Colorado. Not just in Boulder, but in Loveland, Berthoud, Longmont ... oh, you get the idea. During this time, I have been able to find the best places to delight the yearly family visits and enjoy restaurants near home. Being nestled against the foothills, we have the luxury of fresh grown food from the plains, and the Western Slope provides buckets of fruits including world famous peaches and grapes. I think restaurants in the Boulder area seem to cultivate these flavors more so than other parts of the state -- one reason I am honored and proud to post these reviews. My real job is a literary agent, but great food can be a real bargaining chip if I have to decide whether to work or have lunch. As my tastebuds would say … good food fills the stomach, but great food sooths the soul!
