Rangoli`s surroundings are scruffy, but the restaurant`s decor is stylishly subdued and the cuisine superb. Beneath squiggly Sanskrit inscriptions, a student and professional crowd enjoys piped-in twanging sitar music and Indian delicacies like masala salmon, and tandoori shrimp with turmeric and lemon juice.
