Pretty blue windowpanes and planted window boxes make this one of the most inviting exteriors in the city. The French staff is cheerful and helpful, and it`s almost impossible not to have a magnificent meal here . Outstanding dishes include a ravioli stuffed with snails, lotte fish braised in red wine, pan-roasted lamb and ratatouille, and on Tuesdays, a sea bass flaming in Pernod and brandy. Indulge in the chocolate terrine with coffee creme anglaise, or the creme brulee--one of the best--and finish with a wonderfully exotic cheese plate. Get a table in the gorgeous back garden if you can.
Focusing on French dishes, this is an upscale bistro. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $20 to $30, and visitors usually go dressed casual.
