The sunken dining room with caramel booths is a regular museum of Americana, and the menu matches the decor -- big steakhouse fare. Aged rib-eye, Cajun rib steak and filet mignon are Post House classics, served in portions that would satisfy Henry VIII. Even at lunch it`sheavy and meaty, and though not too many weight-watchers go for this sort of thing in the middle of the day, the owners won`t compromise their vision. The lobster is monster-sized, too, but there are a couple of things, such as lemon pepper chicken and broiled sole, that would allow you to walk -- rather than roll -- out.
