The name means "any cute little thing," which aptly fits this small French storefront decorated in warm yellows and filled with charming antiques and collectibles. Opened by stylish refugees from Le Bilboquet, the menu is fashionably creative. Top choices include roasted sweetbreads with onion marmalade, toasted almonds and arugula; seared crisp codfish with black olive mashed potatoes; and calves` liver with Savoy cabbage, smoked bacon and red wine paprika sauce. Saturday and Sunday brunch is a delight.
Pitachoune serves up French and American meals. Expect the average entrée to cost $12 to $20, and dress casual.
Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are accepted. Carryout is available. Smoking is unrestricted.
