A treasured French fishhouse with a bar area where smoking is allowed, and a back dining room with an antique (non-working) fireplace, Monet-style murals and a chandelier with shimmering red baubles. Specialties include a traditional fish soup, filet of salmon with horseradish crust, assorted chilled shellfish, shrimp sautTed with chili oil over watercress, and whole striped bass broiled with fennel and Pernod flambT. Sara Daniels is the chef and owner, and she1s also assembled a choice French wine list. Al fresco dining in summer and a good brunch on Sundays.
