A New York classic, the Palm`s been around since 1926 and looks it. The walls are almost completely covered in colorful caricatures of customers, evoking the roaring 20`s when newspaper men and artists caroused here. The current customers filling the tables are characters themselves, and the steaks and chops are still great and juicy. The huge plates of potatoes and vegetables are enough for a family, and the jumbo lobster is another house specialty. Across the street is Palm Too, which has the same menu and wall-covered caricatures, but they are a mere 20 years old.
Palm concentrates on an American menu and is most sought for their seafood and steaks.
