The exciting hustle and bustle that prevails in Grand Central finds its way into this cavernous fish palace. There`s tons of counter space if you`re alone or in a hurry, and red-checkered tablecloths in an adjacent dining room. Seafood is purchased at the Fulton market, directly shipped or Fed-Exed, and when the market`s closed on weekends and holidays, so is the restaurant. The gargantuan menu changes daily, and the equally gargantuan wine list periodically. Oysters are sold by the piece and lobster by the pound.
Oyster focuses on an American cuisine and is most sought for their seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost between $20 and $30, and plan to fit the scene by dressing casual.
Atmosphere: The restaurant has a historic décor
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.Wine is served, and you`ll find that there is an excellent wine list.
Details to Note: Reservations are suggested. Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly. Parking has been arranged for customers.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Discover
