A pleasant alternative to everyday-Szechuan, this is one of the better deals on Broadway. Like the first two Ollie`s, this midtown sibling is a Pacific melting pot with Mandarin noodle soups and Cantonese barbecued chicken on the same menu as a Singapore version of mai fun, and tuna kabobs with teriyaki sauce. There are offbeat items like tofu casseroles and banana chicken, and more typical offerings like beef with snow peas and delicious dumplings. A revolving dessert showcase, food-warming lamps and multi-colored tiles are kitschy cafeteria, while the service is brisk-verging-on-pleasant. Great for a quick, affordable bite before an 8 o`clock curtain and safe for solo-dining.
Ollie`s concentrates on a Chinese cuisine and is most sought for their noodles.
