This is the bistro that put TriBeCa on the map back in the `80s. Drawing a crowd that lives mostly in black, Odeon manages to create an atmosphere that welcomes all (even those in primary colors). The dining room serves excellent NY bistro-fare like burgers, black bean soup, crispy fries, and creme brulee. The stylish bar prepares generous drinks and fosters unobstrusive mingling.
Odeon serves a new American and French fare. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $12 to $20, and you`ll be fine if dressed casual.
Atmosphere: The restaurant has an eclectic décor enhanced by displayed artwork. Table talk requires you to speak up a bit here.
More Reasons to Go: When weather permits, enjoy outdoor seating.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner. There`s a Sunday brunch. You`ll find that there is an excellent wine list.
Details to Note: Reservations are accepted. Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly. The place stays open late.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club
