Tiny and romantic, the Soul Kitchen warms your heart with pleasure as soon as you step in the door. Tabletops are white linen, and the room is replete with mismatched chairs, a cushy banquette stuffed with throw pillows and pale brick walls sporting old window frames. The countrified American kitchen turns out salmon cakes with dill remoulade, chicken fried shell steak smothered in pan gravy, and pork loin seared with sage and served over sweet potato hash. It`s also a lovely, intimate place for brunch.
