It seems as though you`ve been transported to another era when you enter this darkly luxurious and romantic dining room, which holds an astonishingly beautiful Tiffany lamp, a precious Italian nude sculpture, antique tiles from Seville, and an ornate mirror from an old Saratoga hotel. It all makes sense when you learn that before John Nicholson opened this showplace 47 years ago he was an antique dealer. Signature dishes are cheese souffle, roast chicken, crab cakes, baked shell steak, and chocolate souffle.
Nicholson`s Café serves American cooking.
Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner.
Notable Mention: One of New York`s better restaurants.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club
More ...: has a Prix Fixe menu
