There`s a smokeshop up front and a speakeasy feel to this masculine steakhouse. Low lighting, dramatic balcony seating, and plenty of fatcats all over the room set the tone. This New York location is the 33rd in the chain, and the 34th will soon open on Wall Street. Killer appetizers are the sauteed wild mushrooms, and the crabmeat cocktail. For the main course, pretty much everyone orders a steak--the porterhouse being the most popular. Baked Idaho potatoes are football-size, and chocolate freaks will be satisfied by the chocolate velvet cake or the souffle for two.
