Laura Lam was an assistant chef at the Rainbow Room. Before that, she and her daughter were "boat people," and before that she ran a cooking school in Vietnam. Now, she`s brought her expertise to the Upper West Side with two restaurants that dazzle with fresh, flavorful Vietnamese cuisine. Menu favorites include yom nuong (grilled prawn), Vietnamese seafood bouillabaisse, and stir-fried chicken with lemon grass and red chili sauce. Be prepared for a meal that`s well worth the probable wait.
