In business for 20 years now, Mitali recently experienced a tasteful renovation, adding beautiful artifacts, Indian fabrics on the walls, upholstered booths, and a water fountain in back that`s lit up at night. The murgha tikka musalom and shrimp tandoori are enchanting dishes, both barbecued over charcoal. Plain nan bread is just the thing to sop up the tasty sauces, especially the delicately spiced fish marsala. Special combination platters are a nice way to sample several dishes, and a buffet brunch is offered on Sundays. They`re good for catering private parties, too.
This place serves patrons an east Indian cuisine. Expect to pay $12 to $20 per person.
