A clean, simple and fabulous noodle shop to know about, with two levels always busy with local business people, Asians and tourists. Waiters in black, sashed robes serve up rich soups with shrimp, chicken, beancurd, fish ball and vegetables, Japanese-style chow mein, and rice balls for $2 each, with seaweed, salmon or codfish roe. Steaming on the counter is a selection of ready-made broths, and there are side orders of salad and kimchi. A lunch special combo is only $3.50, and a set of rice, pickles and any noodle is $1.25. And everybody drinks green tea.
