More of a performance than a restaurant, Lucky Cheng`s features gorgeous drag queen waitresses who change their wigs with every new course. The young, very mixed crowd can get boisterous on weekends. However, from the quirky, unconventional atmosphere (black, red, and gold walls covered with dragons and silk shantung dresses) to the original, freely interpreted Chinese food (crab shu-mai with avocado and ginger creme caramel, for example), dining at Lucky Cheng`s is hardly a drag.
