The casual arrangement of beautiful, inlaid, Briarwood tables, Moroccan tapestries, and family heirlooms bestow upon Chef/owner Abdel Rebbaj`s narrow, Restaurant Row dining room the kind of carefree charm that makes diners feel at home. Patrons are pampered as they dine on authentic Moroccan dishes like lemon chicken tajine, spicy Safi-style fish tajine (stews served in conical tajine crocks), seafood b`stilla (lobster, crabmeat, and shrimp layered in phyllo pastry), breewats (a flaky pastry stuffed with seafood, chicken, spianch and cheese), or lamb and vegetable couscous. For dessert, mint tea and cookies filled with almond paste are a part of the ritual.
