There`s a notable feel of importance at this stately yet casual destination point for true food lovers. Charles Palmer (of Aureole and Alva fame) and Tony Fortuna (of Lespinasse and Lutece) opened it with great fanfare about a year ago, and with their track record, you know you`re in good hands. Chefs Andrew Thompson and Matthew Geraghty man the kitchen, creating progressive American cuisine with French accents. There`s a grand raw bar, yellowfin tuna tartare with soy and sesame, roasted lobster with ginger noodles and scallion glaze, and a charcoaled tuna steak with a Nicoise salad.
This place offers a new American cuisine.
