This small yet elegant French dining room on Restaurant Row is decorated simply, with modern, Italian-crystal chandeliers, white linen on the tables, and framed prints of floral paintings. With a lilting voice and a ready smile, "Madame" is Maitre d`, and keeps the house full of beautiful fresh flower arrangements. Her husband, Chef Joel, creates traditional classics--coquille St. Jacques, escargots, or duck pate, followed by entrees of monkfish Beaujolaise, veal kidneys in sherry wine sauce, or beef Bourguinon. The three-course, $21.00 dinner special is a great deal.
With focus on a French fare, this is an upscale restaurant. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $12 to $20, and dress casual.
Atmosphere: The establishment has an authentic wood finished décor. With seating for 45 people, the restaurant has a romantic atmosphere.
More Reasons to Go: Le Beaujolais is appropriate (if not ideal) for entertaining clients, anniversaries and other romantic evenings.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are suggested.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club
