Incredibly long, tapered white candles at the window make this an evocative storefront spot, which is known, of course, for its focaccia baked in a wood-burning brick oven. There are tiled tables and flat Italian baking pans hung on the walls and several seasonal specialties. The focaccia cheese pie is made from an old traditional recipe, and follow that with an artichoke salad and penne with vodka sauce. Fish and meat dishes are given the brick oven treatment too, such as shrimp and calamari, and seared slices of beef with radicchio, balsamic vinegar and green peppercorn sauce.
This place specializes in Italian meals.
