Nestled in the Village`s charmingly narrow Minetta Lane and decorated in soft yellows and Mediterranean blues, La Boheme almost transports you to the Provencal French countryside which inspires its cuisine. With its intimate dining room and personable if rushed waitstaff, La Boheme can feel slightly crowded on busy weekend nights, but is adorable nonetheless. The provencal-bistro fare (olive and fennel-kissed ragouts and pastas, as well as herb grilled fish, chicken, and beef) is well seasoned and nicely sauced, and desserts, like chilled lemon souffle in raspberry sauce, are superb.
If you go to La Boheme, you`ll find a bistro that serves a French cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $12 to $20, and dress casual.
