Open-mouthed stone dragons flank the entrance, but don`t be frightened off. Inside it`s no palace but it is attractive, well-lit and roomy, and much nicer and more modern than the other Korean places in the neighborhood. It`s good for corporate lunches, where the barbecue-your-own method on inlaid grills inspires conviviality. Americans prefer the marinated prime beef short ribs and thin slices of rib-eye steak, whereas Koreans and the Japanese go for the sliced, seasoned beef tongue. There`s also spicy cod fish and vegetable soup, stir-fried vermicelli noodles with vegetables, and spicy mini-octopus.
This restaurant focuses on a Korean fare. Expect the average entrée to cost from $20 to $30, and people for the most part dress casual, but fashionable.
