This huge Latin restaurant (with a seating capacity of 400) can, during the summer, squeeze in another 400 on the outdoor patio, which has a magnificent view of Manhattan. With 19 televisions tuned into sports events and autographed jerseys and photos of athletes on the walls, Jimmy`s is for sports-loving families, though it also attracts a number of famous personalities ù among them, Fidel Castro. Seafood gets the Caribbean treatment, with crispy fish patties and a rich stew of seven wonders from the sea. Specialty tropical drinks and frequent live Latin music add to that island feel.
Here you`ll find a restaurant that offers Latin American cooking where it`s common to order seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost $12 to $20, and you`ll be fine if dressed casual.
Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are required on weekends. Carryout is available. Parking has been arranged for customers.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club
