Best known for New York`s best calamari and fried clams, this bar & grille serves patrons an American cuisine with a menu dominated by seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost under $8.

Atmosphere: Jeremy`s Ale House has been around since the mid-1970s and this is it`s third location in the area. Located in an old truck garage, you`ll be able to take in the view of Brooklyn Bridge from many seats here. Architectually, the restaurant is in an unusual structure. is enhanced by a neat memorabelia collection, and the lighting is warm.

The restaurant is spacious with high ceilings. It is friendly and relaxed and patroned by all kinds of people. Table talk requires you to speak up a bit here. Also, you`ll notice that there is an enclosed outdoor area.

More Reasons to Go: It`s common to gather and watch sports events, and a juke box keeps up the tempo when you eat at this restaurant. And, for your viewing pleasure, there are several televisions.
