An attractive room of pastels and curves, with an open kitchen and a glassed-in booth where you can watch the bread being made. This lovingly run family operation by Amul and Arun Chaddha makes everything to order. Even the rice is fresher than at other places, with each grain crisp and discernible, and there`s not a steam table in the place--unusual for an Indian restaurant. There are flour puffs filled with potatoes and chick peas, a wonderful mulligatawny soup, sharply-spiced chicken or lamb vindaloo, and a gentle lentil daal that`s a meal in itself.
India Grill is a place that dishes up an east Indian cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $8 to $12, and dress casual.
