A country setting with mismatched chairs and tables, wine bottles on book shelves, and a whole bunch of Americana quilts and antiques available for sale. By day it is an antique store, and by night a thriving wine and tapas bar, specializing in sherries you can`t get anywhere else. The downstairs wine cellar is where visitor Edgar Allan Poe was allegedly inspired to write "The Cask of Amontillado." There are nightly specials on chalkboards, and the regular menu consists of things like bruschetta,sun-dried tomato and olive crostini, grilled octopus, organic polenta with country ragu, and seared tuna with corona beans.
Ii Buco specializes in Mediterranean and Italian meals.
Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner.A full selection of alcoholic beverages are served.
Notable Mention: One of New York`s better restaurants.
Details to Note: Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly.
Ways to Pay: Cash and American Express
