This new Murray Hiller -- warmly wood-paneled with large windows that open onto the street in the summer -- serves up a variety of affordable feel-good foods. From goat cheese salad with arugula, radicchio and walnuts, to barbequed chicken with buttermilk mashed potatoes, most dishes are delicious. Best of all, the service is friendly and locals can usually linger as long as they want. The restaurant is spacious and there`s also a large open bar area.
You`ll find that Hudson`s Place serves an American and Italian fare. Expect to pay $20 to $30 per person.
