There`s nothing eye-catching about the decor at this pleasant Japanese restaurant in the Flatiron district, but the particularly fresh food has real zip. Sushi and sashimi dinners are bursting with flavor and are well-priced for the quality. The "royal salmon" is definitely a standout: half-broiled and half-steamed, the moist pink fillet is placed on orange slices and topped with salmon roe caviar and a mint leaf.
