There are Depression-era references but no sense of depression at this clean-lined American harvest restaurant. A portrait of FDR oversees the polished bar, shaking up inventive cocktails like a "Minnesota Manhattan," a "prairie martini," and a "Catcher in the Rye." Lunch features portobello and arugula on pumpernickel and an organic hamburger, and at dinner string beans with rosemary and sage, potato pancakes, baked eggplant steaks, organic chicken with honey-glazed carrots, cranberry-glazed pork chops with Shaker poached apples, and a seasonal vegetable platter. Devil`s food cake, wild rice pudding, and a wholesome brunch will carry you back to the farm.
