Giovanni`s modern design combines warm, muted tones with flights of fancy, like the pink-and-cream striped Pavilion Room, with its trompe l`oeil garden mural, and the European-style Club Room for cigar lovers. Among the popular appetizers are crispy calamari with artichoke hearts, smoked salmon with potato pancake, and Venetian-style pasta e fagioli. The menu offers daily risotto specials and a wide choice of pasta dishes. Secondi include roasted rack of lamb with sweet garlic sauce, and horseradish-encrusted Adriatic sea bass. The wine list received Wine Spectator`s 1995 Award of Excellence.
