RESPOND TO VISITOR REVIEW Enter your response to zanolini in the space below and RATE this restaurant using the drop-down options to the right. zanolini - I was at Gallagher's in 1990 and I remember great steaks and a nice environment. But things change! I've been there in Aug '05. I ordered a Porterhouse, mid rare. I got a well done steak with a taste of frozen beef. I rised my concerns to the waiter and the answer is 'it is what it is'. At the check out time, I had a furious discussion with the waiter and with the manager who did not want to accept a lower tip because of the poor meal and service. If you want a good tasting steak and a pleasent environment in New York, do not go to Galalgher's!
