Trompe l`oeil walls, white curtains, and linen napkins make Frutti di Mare feel worlds away from the East Village streets it sits on. It`s always filled with a chatty, hungry people, and the waitstaff is enthusiastic if hurried. The menu leans toward well-proportioned, comforting seafood pasta, and while it`s not haute cuisine, it`s a good place for hipsters to feel like they`re really eating out without destroying their student loans.
If you go to Frutti De - Mare, you`ll find an eatery that serves up Italian meals. Expect the average entrée to cost from $8 to $12, and you should usually go dressed casual.
