There`s an active bar area up front and beyond it a separate, more sedate dining area accented with modern art. Tables are set with cobalt blue goblets, giving the room a gentle radiance. Popular starters to share are the grilled pizza of the week, and potato and zucchini chips served with crumbled gorgonzola cheese. Chef Vincent Scotto`s original pastas include pappardelle with a hearty duck sauce, and tagliolini with lobster ragu, olives and pine nuts. The grilled veal chop with garlic mashed potatoes, and filet mignon of tuna with mizzuna and orange vinaigrette take pride of place for main courses. Reservations are essential.
