A popular Third Ave. haunt, this is actually two restaurants in one. One side is "Texas," with a crowded bar, the other side "Mexico," with flowers and tablecloths. In between there`s the "Border" -- otherwise known as the kitchen. The menus on both sides are the same. Strawberry and raspberry margaritas are the specialty of the house. For entrees, try the swordfish or nachos de fajita. Outdoor tables are avialable when its warm.
Stop in El Rio Grande for a place that serves American where people frequently get a tex-mex style. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $12 to $20, and plan to fit the scene by dressing casual.
