Packed since the first day they opened, this attractive, deco-style seafood house offers a raw bar, shrimp "in the rough," and clams and oysters on the half shell. Crab cakes are delicious and the linguine with red or white clam sauce is quite good. The menu also featues grilled swordfish, fried Ipswich clams, steamed lobster, and fried Ipswich clams. The black, brass and glass brick room is cheerfully lit. Dock`s has everything to offer except service, which can be rude, even at the door.
Here you`ll find a restaurant that serves patrons an American fare with a menu based largely on seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $12 to $20, and you can go dressed any way you choose -- within reason.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner. There`s a weekend brunch for $13.75 per person.
Details to Note: Reservations are suggested. Carryout is available. The place stays open late.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Discover
