You don`t have to be a diva to dine here but it helps. Even though the room is spare there is drama in the boldly painted walls, the long copper bar, and the chic, moneyed crowd. Grilled baby calamari on radicchio, the carpaccio della casa, and Mediterranean salad of yellow and red tomatoes, goat cheese and olives on arugula are the most accomplished appetizers. Black ravioli filled with lobster in a vodka sauce, black linguine with spicy tomato sauce and shrimp, grilled tuna over sautTed sundried tomatoes and asparagus, and seared beef tenderloin in a cognac sauce are ace as entrees. Open until 4 a.m.
