Wide open spaces dominate this contemporary Turkish restaurant that has walls painted brightly in blue, white and yellow with copper trim. Chef Orhan Yegen prepares some of the best fish in the city and is a purist by not disguising the flavor of the seafood with herbs or sauces. He`s proud of the char-grilled red snapper and fresh mackerel, as well as the fresh anchovies, red mullets and Holland turbot, an expensive fish that he manages to sell for $25. There`s live Turkish music Fridays and Saturdays, and it attracts a diplomatic U.N. crowd.
This eatery serves guests Mediterranean food an emphasis on seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost from $12 to $20, and go dressed casual.
