Senegalese peanut soup!), the steaming brews at Daily Soup`s five locations are the perfect antidote to a cool breeze. Don`t expect to sit and eat, though; there are a few tall stools in the whitewashed-walls-and-chrome interior, but the ethos is strictly take-away. Convenience is key: the cheerful and helpful servers provide free samples if you`re undecided; bread, fruit, and cookie are included in the price; there are special notations for lowfat, low sodium, and nondairy options; and if you`re a local, you can even order online and get the menus emailed to you daily. Now that`s progress!
