Chef/owner Tommaso`s small, clubby dining room has an old-fashioned feel. A first course here might begin with seafood dressed with fresh mint, basil and balsamic vinegar, or a simple plate of tomato with mozzarella and basil. Red snapper here is accompanied by baby shrimps, leeks, peas and fresh tomatoes, and chicken is sauteed with marsala wine, mushrooms, prosciutto, peas and baby artichokes. House specialties include filet mignon with mushrooms and barolo red wine sauce, and angel hair with clam sauce.
You`ll find that Da Tommaso specializes in an Italian menu. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $12 to $20.
Atmosphere: is enhanced by displayed artwork, and the lighting is via chandelier. The restaurant has two dining rooms. It is warm and lively and patroned by all kinds of people.
