The Cowgirl is all about camp -- and campfires. This temple of Patsy Cline and her ilk, as well as women who are real rodeo stars, might be just the place to take a transplanted friend pining for Big Sky Country -- or just a big group of compadres looking for a party atmosphere. The Tex-Mex cooking includes cheese-filled nachos, chicken fried steak, and spicy beef chili, as well as such exotic concoctions as Frito Pie (we`re not telling!). Drinks are big and hearty, as are the portions of food -- and every table gets a stack of napkins as high as a ten-gallon hat. And there`s a gift shop, too!
This restaurant dishes up southwestern American cooking an emphasis on barbecue. Expect the average entrée to cost $8 to $12, and plan to fit the scene by dressing casual.
