Like a big, open Italian kitchen with a terra-cotta floor and wonderful smells coming from the brick oven. There are simple antipasti and pizza choices, a rich tomato and bread soup with fresh basil, spinach lasagna, and a bright spaghetti al pesto. Meat dishes are especially good, such as a mixed grill of chicken, quail and sausage, or a grilled steak rubbed with rosemary infused oil. The fresh brook trout is grilled over an open fire and drizzled with sage butter. Finish it off with some chocolate gelato or a seasonal fresh fruit plate.
If you try out Col Legno, you`ll find a place that serves an Italian cuisine emphasizing pizza. Expect the average entrée to cost between $12 and $20, and dress casual.
