Inspired by Marco Polo, whose journeys brought about culinary exchange between East and West, Ephram Kadish, the chef and owner of China Grill, serves world cuisine that is beautifully presented and meant to be shared. The space is dramatic: sheets of black granite soar to impressive heights, canvas pods filter light, and underfoot, the writings of Marco Polo are neatly inlaid in brass. Popular menu items include lobster pancakes; broccoli rabe dumplings; grilled Szechwan beef; and garlic shrimp with black fettuccine, red curry, and coconut sauce.
