The handsome dining room is refined and elegant, a calm place for conversation and exquisite yet robust Italian cuisine. Named for Pellegrino Artusi, a 19th century Italian author and gastronome, his tradition is proudly carried on in chef Mauro Mafrici`s kitchen. While paying tribute to the master, Mafrici`s food is more forward-thinking, with dishes such as wild mushroom risotto topped with tender braised quail; white lasagnetta layered with fresh ricotta and artichoke sauce, and leg of rabbit with honey, wine, and herb infusion.
Artusi is a fine dining restaurant that brings patrons an Italian fare. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $20 to $30, and you`ll be fine if dressed casual.
