Here the menu offers mostly Vietnamese specialties with French touches tossed in, especially in the dessert department. Favorites include the summer rolls and egg rolls stuffed with shrimp, pork and mushrooms, shrimp mousse wrapped in sugar cane, and shrimp steamed with lemongrass and sake, topped with spicy coriander sauce. The wok-fried crispy whole bass with oyster lemon grass sauce fantastic. Finish with profiteroles with caramel ice cream and chocolate sauce, or the symphony of chocolate, a swirl of white, dark, and chocolate. The dining room, reached by a scrubbed brick archway, is elegant, its walls appointed with tastefully crafted artwork and great lighting to accent the crowd.
