The spiffy newish venture by L`Auberge du Midi owners Drissia and Jean Roger Raf`l, featuring Moroccan cuisine in a seductive setting of draped curtains, pillowed banquettes, colorful tiles and beaded windows. Chef Lahbib Saki prepares cigars of chicken, almonds and onions in phyllo dough, and another of seafood, garlic and cilantro. B`stilla of FFs has duck in layers of phyllo dough, cooked in saffron broth with parsley, cilantro, almonds and scrambled eggs, garnished with sugar and cinnamon. Traditional harira soup with lamb, lentils and chick peas, and lamb stew tagines are also tenderly delicious.
This restaurant offers Moroccan. Expect the average entrée to cost between $12 and $20, and usually, people dress casual.
