A fun and festive Latin destination with superb margaritas, frequent live music and impressive food--even better now after an extensive kitchen renovation. Everything with shrimp is unimpeachable, including the shrimp tucul with hot green chili sauce. Spicy black bean soup with smoked chicken sausage, arroz con pollo, quesadillas, burritos and char-grilled pork chops with tostones are also superior. Most entrTes are served with rice and beans and salad, and the $8.50 brunch (which includes a drink) will get you things like a fat breakfast burrito or huevos rancheros.
If you go to Boca Chica, you`ll find a place that specializes in a Latin American and Puerto Rican fare. Expect to pay for the most part in the range of $8 to $12 per person.
