The popular spin-off of Blue Ribbon has a barely noticeable downstairs entrance -- inside it`s a clean little fishhouse with unique nightly specials and a huge selection of sushi. Fun things include dragon rolls, fresh sea urchin in the shell, and cooked scallops with mushrooms and smelt roe. Soups, salads, vegetarian rolls, and box sushi pressed into square layers are also available, masterfully prepared by Toshi Ueki. Sakis come in sampler sizes or by the bottle if you`re with a large group.
Blue Ribbon Sushi serves up Japanese cooking with a menu based largely on sushi.
Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner. Both beer and wine are served.
Notable Mention: One of New York`s better restaurants.
Details to Note: The place stays open late.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club
