This dark, North Indian cocoon is low-key and soothing and appeals to hard-working UN staffers and Park Avenue financiers. There is not much in the way of decor: pink walls and a blue-patterned carpet that makes for hushed acoustics. Menu highlights include excellent clay oven breads; vegetable samosa; juicy lobster with herbs, coconut, almonds, and cream; and spiced lamb cooked with garlic, ginger, green chili, and fresh coriander. There are also a fair number of tasty vegetarian dishes.
Here you`ll find a place that serves patrons east Indian cooking. Expect the average entrée to cost between $8 and $12, and dress casual.
