An international set of models, actors and artists frequent this chic restaurant, especially in summer when the back garden is in bloom with Japanese cherry trees. Saffron walls, dark green banquettes, artsy light fixtures and massive flower arrangements lend it a privileged air, and chef Scott Conant is known for having the best porcini risotto in town. The robust Northern Italian cuisine is meant to match with a bottle of Barolo or Barbaresco, and in fact, they boast one of the most extensive Italian wine lists in the world. Other superb dishes include polenta with Italian sausage, filet mignon in Barolo sauce, and a whole fish baked in salt and dramatically unveiled at the table.
Barolo is an upscale restaurant that focuses on a northern Italian fare. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $20 to $30, and dress casual, but fashionable.
Atmosphere: You`ll be able to take in the garden view from many seats at this facility. The facility has a straight-forward décor. In general, the lighting is by the glow of candle flame. The restaurant has two dining rooms. It has a comfortable atmosphere and patroned by all kinds of people.
